The ingredients needed to cook Potato Soup:

  1. You need 3-4 of potatos.
  2. Get of long green onions (4 stems).
  3. Use of Salt.
  4. You need 3-4 of eggs.
  5. Get of shredded cheese (optional).
  6. Provide 1 cup of Milk.
  7. You need of ~1.5 cup of water.

Steps to make Potato Soup:

  1. Chop long green onions Chop potatoes (optional).
  2. Put long green onions & potato in a big round pot..
  3. Add water just enough to barely cover the potatos (a bit less better).
  4. Heat everything while stirring for 5-10 mins..
  5. Add a cup of Milk. Keep stirring..
  6. Add salt to your liking..
  7. Add eggs, stir until eggs are clearly cooked..
  8. Add shredded cheese (optional).
  9. By now potatoes should be soft. Take a potato masher (see pic) and stir while squashing the potato down. Stop once the potato is the size of your liking. Since it's soup I personally like very small pieces..
  10. Take a spoon and taste it. Make sure potato is done & enough salt has been added. Now you're done!! :).

Drain, reserving liquid and setting vegetables aside. Start by boiling potatoes until fork tender. When potatoes are done, strain out the water and add butter. When butter is melted, add flour. Potato soup has to have a pureed, smooth potato component.
